The work, of great design and construction complexity, was entirely realized and pre-assembled at our factory; subsequently we took care of the transport and installation at the customer site. The project has seen us involved since the preliminary stages of study and constructive engineering. These are the main details of the work:
The Tree of Life, the fulcrum of the project, is entirely made of glass and steel. It has a metallic carpentry structure consisting of truncated cone-shaped columns made of COR-TEN type B S355J0W steel sheet, bent and welded with continuous cord along its entire length. The circular shaped cover has a diameter of about 14 meters, formed by flat iron elements 200×8 mm made from COR-TEN sheet metal assembled and welded together with a square mesh, an auxiliary structure for the support of the perimeter windows forming the case made of Ø8in. structural tube.
The structure is completed by a steel porch and connecting corridors made of composite profiles, COR-TEN steel sheet, structural tubular.
The work was entirely carried out in compliance with the D.M. 14 January 2008. Report the CE marking according to the UNI EN 1090-1.
